10mi at 1:28:35; expect finish at 10:06 AM

10k at 54:26; expect finish at 10:05 AM

My hands were cold like ice throughout the whole race. I am glad that I brought my gloves!

Thanks Derek (Tai Lak) for letting us stay at his place. It's great to have a real running addict to run with us! I broke my record even I was down and sick.

We went to Tai Lak's Chorale performance on Saturday night. The musical is awesome. I am glad that Siu Ning Ning joined us too, though he can't run with us. Haha, his new BMW wife is so comfortable. I love her!

Life is great when you are surrounded by friends.

How will I finish 13.1 miles tomorrow? The first time that I am so unprepared for a running race.

An Evening with the Woman of Wisdom

It was such a long day today. I woke up at 7:30am, ran couple miles, went to Sunday school, ushered in worship, followed by a 2 -hr choir practice. Then, Rita and I went to Ruth's house to have another hour of choir practice. Ruth shared her experience about marriage while I was driving. Now I know what really make the marriage successful. She and Sam are real examples that young people should follow.

When Sam and Ruth invited me to stay for dinner, I could feel my tears in my eyes. It feels so great to be a Christian! I have prayed so much to God to give peace while having a broken family now. He is such a caring God who gives me lots of family caring from other people. Right, I didn't realize that I am such a needy person. I wish I could have a Christmas dinner with my parents and SYY, and listen to Christmas songs and watch TV together afterwards.

Unfortunately, this will not happen this year. SYY will go back to HK on 21st. Luckily, I will be going to TN on 12/25, so I won't need to stay home and be surrounded by 4 empty walls alone.

I was reading in Barnes and Nobles again. I listened to the nice Christmas songs. It was such a relaxing night. I am glad that my friends stopped by. Somehow we got into a conversation about chemistry. Well, I do understand what he meant by the "click." Sometimes it takes time to have that click with a person. Sometimes you did not realize how beautiful a person is after knowing him/her more, just like my experience with God.
